Since 1989, HCMM has included medical professionals from the three hospitals in Hancock County Maine plus various others with special interest in serving others. HCMM has been to Ecuador 23 times, Bolivia once, and the Dominican Republic the last 3 years.

Each year we take 1-3 high school students from Hancock County to translate and assist the medical team, covering their travel and mission fees.

We are also joined by medical, surgical, anesthesia and nursing students. This medical student first joined us as a youngster with her father. She is now a family practitioner and fluent in Spanish.
