We returned in February 2011 from our annual medical/surgical mission to Ecuador, this time to the town of Guaranda in the central highlands. We are making plans for our next trip to Cayambe, Ecuador in February 2012..
Our in-country host organization this year was interSALUD, directed by Pablo Logacho and Emil Borja. We had worked with Pablo on previous trips and enjoyed his leadership and sense of humor once again--and we enjoyed meeting and working with Emil and interSALUD's support staff..
We have scheduled our flights for Sunday, 12 February 2012 from Bangor and returning Sunday, 26 February 2012 from Quito (a change from Saturday flights). Please call or e-mail for more information or come to a monthly meeting (see below).
